explanation

My question is if a right triangle can have the side length of 9 18 and 27 . the investigation i used was on the first couple of sites that my teacher sent me. the cites let me adjust the side lengths. when i tried I could not get the side length to be 9, 18 and 27. What I plan on doing next is starting to investigate a different question the question is:If you know the side lengths of a right triangle, can you predict what the angles will be?
so far I have gathered a little of information. One is I got a couple of numbers that form a right triangle some are 3,4,5 and 6,8,10. as you can see that the first set of numbers is half of the second set of numbers. also you can know that the angle that is corresponding to the side that is 3 will be the smallest angle and the angle that corresponds to the side that measures 5 will be the biggest angle which will be 90 degrees. this is what i have gathered so far and ove the next couple of days i will do more investigating.

  1. You might want to look at my blog for Diophantus's method for generating Pythagorean triples. You should consider putting your data into a table so that you can see patterns in it easier.
