My question is if a right triangle can have the side length of 9 18 and 27 . the investigation i used was on the first couple of sites that my teacher sent me. the cites let me adjust the side lengths. when i tried I could not get the side length to be 9, 18 and 27. What I plan on doing next is starting to investigate a different question the question is:If you know the side lengths of a right triangle, can you predict what the angles will be?
so far I have gathered a little of information. One is I got a couple of numbers that form a right triangle some are 3,4,5 and 6,8,10. as you can see that the first set of numbers is half of the second set of numbers. also you can know that the angle that is corresponding to the side that is 3 will be the smallest angle and the angle that corresponds to the side that measures 5 will be the biggest angle which will be 90 degrees. this is what i have gathered so far and ove the next couple of days i will do more investigating.

Hello again I am hear to answer the questions i have been asked. i have been doing many investigations on the computer. To answer the first question if I decrease the leg the hypotenuse also decreases. This is the answer to the next question.
leg 1 leg 2 hypotenuse
9 9 12.728
9 8 12.042 12.728-12.042=.686
9 7 11.402
9 6 10.817 11.402-10.817=.585
9 5 10.296
9 4 9.849 10.296-9.849=.447
9 3 9.487
9 2 9.22 9.487-9.22=.267
9 1 9.005
As you can see the change that the numbers go through is not the same. Lastly I can not make predictions on what the lengths will be. i was also asked to make up my own question and investigate it. the question is if the numbers 9,18, 27. I did a investigation on the second site that my teacher sent me and i found out that those numbers do not work.

triangles
The question i will be discussing is," If you take a right triangle and change one side length how does that change the other length? How does that change the angles of the triangle. As soon as i read this question i had a little clue.
During the weekend my teacher sent me four websites i can use. i mostly used the fourth one. The fourth website helped me the most. Thanks to that website i got this data
side ac Ac measurement bc bc measurement AB AB measurement
9 45 degrees 9 45 degrees 12.12 90 degrees
9 33.69 degrees 6 56.31 degrees 10.81 90 degrees
9 71.57 degrees 3 71.57 degrees 9.487 90 degrees
9 83.66 degrees 1 18.43 degrees 9.005 90 degrees
As you can see as you change one side another side must change this same rule that i made also has to go with the angle measurement because the two angles have to add up to 90
